As an Automation Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for web browser–based applications to ensure high-quality software releases. You will also leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve test efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web browser automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Execute automation across multiple web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) and validate cross-browser compatibility.
  • Develop and execute API automation tests using REST Assured.
  • Identify and prioritize automation test scenarios from regression, sanity, and smoke suites.
  • Analyze test execution results, debug failures, and report defects with clear logs and screenshots.
  • Integrate automation execution with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Manage automation code using Git/GitHub, following version control best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve defects efficiently.
  • Participate in peer reviews of automation scripts and test cases.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for:
    • Test case creation and optimization
    • Failure analysis and flaky test detection
    • Improving automation coverage and productivity
  • Perform testing in Agile/Scrum environments and support sprint deliverables.
  • Stay updated with latest browser automation trends, AI testing tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in Web Automation Testing
  • Strong Java programming skills
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience in web browser testing and cross-browser validation
  • API automation experience using REST Assured
  • Experience with Jenkins for automation execution
  • Knowledge of Git or GitHub
  • Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools
  • Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills

  • Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber
  • Knowledge of Maven / Gradle
  • Experience with Playwright or Cypress
  • Basic SQL knowledge
